Following on from Steve's talk last year which focused on the Walmsley and Egerton families in Turton, this next talk will cover the 19th century development of Egerton. Starting with the building of Blackburn Road and the opening of Egerton Mill, it will look particularly at the activities of the area's prominent families and their businesses.
