| New booklet released November 2018 |
John Barlow has spent the last two years painstakingly investigating the history of pubs and breweries in the area. The resulting booklet, Pubs in Turton 1, is the first of a two part publication, covering Entwistle, Edgworth and Quarlton together with the village of Chapeltown. Part two will cover Bradshaw, Harwood, Bromley Cross, Eagley and Egerton, and is likely to take 2-3 years to complete.
The booklets are due in from the printers during the next couple of weeks and will be available to buy online through Amazon, or from a number of other local outlets which we will confirm once the stock has arrived.
