David Tilsley, archivist at Lancashire Archives, will be giving us an overview of manorial records. These documents are held by many archives and record offices, often within landed family and estate collections. Documents such as court rolls, accounts, rentals and surveys, can often tell us something of the people who lived in the local district, and the presentation will include some local examples.
